--Talent show: Sign-up sheets are located in the middle and high school offices. Children and adults of all ages are invited to participate.
--Vendor sales: Tonopah sellers' permits are required for all Jim Butler Days vendors. The business license fee is $15 and an application can be requested from firstname.lastname@example.org. In addition to a permit, applications for vendors are due no later than May 1.
--Bartender and waitress race: Applications are due prior to the event as participants are arranged into brackets. For an application, contact Mary Tisue
--Parade: Participants are encouraged to complete an application prior to the parade. There is no fee to enter the parade. All individuals, bands, equestrians, businesses, high school classes, antique auto owners, community organizations, clubs and political candidates are invited to participate. Local merchants have donated $500 cash prizes for best floats or entries. For more information, contact Parade Chairman Cindy Kaminski
-- Rock & bottle show: Gem, mineral, jewelry, fossil and bottle vendors are invited to sell their goods. Applications are due no later than May 1. A Tonopah sellers permit is required.
-- Craft fair: Advanced applications are encouraged as tables are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Tables cost $20. Applications are available at the Tonopah Times-Bonanza office. Questions can be directed to Bobby Jean Roberts at 482-3365.
--Art show: Anyone 14-19 or 19 and over can participated in the High Desert Art Exhibit. Three divisions are available: fine arts, photography and creative art. Applications are due by May 24. Each entry costs $5.
